Day 1: Location
Home town – Almaty

Arrival in Almaty from Kuala Lumpur. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Almaty. After check-in, take some time to rest and adjust. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner in a local restaurant, where you’ll have your first taste of Kazakh cuisine. Overnight in Almaty.
Day 2: Almaty City Tour – Kok Tobe & Shymbulak
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a guided city tour of Almaty. Begin with a visit to Kok Tobe Hill, accessible by a scenic cable car ride. Enjoy panoramic views of Almaty from the hilltop and explore the small park with a mini zoo and art displays. Next, head to Shymbulak Ski Resort in the Medeu Valley. Take a gondola ride up the mountain for scenic views, photos, and relaxation. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Almaty.
Day 3: Almaty – Kolsai Lake – Charyn Canyon – Kaindy Lake

Breakfast at the hotelBreakfast at the hotel, then drive to the stunning Kolsai Lakes surrounded by pine forests. En route, stop at Charyn Canyon, Kazakhstan's 'Grand Canyon,' known for its deep gorges and unique rock formations. After lunch, continue to Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest. Evening check-in at Kolsai Grand Hotel, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Kolsai – Saty Village – Kegen – Karakol

Start with breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Saty Village for a local lunch and a taste of Kazakh village life. Cross the Kegen Pass into Kyrgyzstan, arriving in Karakol, a historic town known for its wooden Russian architecture. Dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Karakol
Day 5: Karakol – Altyn Arashan

After breakfast, take a day trip to Altyn Arashan Gorge, a beautiful valley known for its hot springs and scenic mountain landscapes. Enjoy a picnic lunch, free time to soak in the springs or explore the area. Return to Karakol in the evening. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Karakol.
Day 6: Altyn Arashan – Karakol – Jeti Oguz – Barskoon – Bokonbaevo
Breakfast at the hotel, then set out for Jeti Oguz Gorge, famous for its red sandstone formations 'Seven Bulls' and 'Broken Heart'. Continue through Barskoon Gorge for stunning views and waterfalls before reaching Bokonbaevo Village, known for traditional eagle hunting. Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp, experiencing Kyrgyz hospitality.
Day 7: Bokonbaevo – Skazka Canyon – Kochkor – Son Kul
Begin with breakfast at the yurt camp, then visit Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon, named for its whimsical rock formations. Continue to Kochkor, where you’ll meet a local family and learn the traditional art of felt carpet-making. Transfer to Son Kul Lake, an expansive, high-altitude lake. Dinner and overnight in a yurt near the lake, enjoying the nomadic lifestyle.
Day 8: Son Kul
Breakfast in the yurt camp, then enjoy a full day at Son Kul Lake. Options include exploring the area on horseback (optional) and interacting with nomadic families. This is a perfect day to experience Kyrgyz culture and take in the breathtaking landscapes. Dinner and overnight in a yurt.
Day 9: Son Kul – Kochkor – Chon Kemin
After breakfast, leave Son Kul and drive back to Kochkor for lunch. Continue to Chon Kemin Valley, known for its beautiful natural scenery and authentic Kyrgyz villages. Stay with a local family, where you’ll experience Kyrgyz traditions and cuisine. Dinner and overnight in Chon Kemin.
Day 10: Chon Kemin – Bishkek
Breakfast with the host family in Chon Kemin, then transfer to Bishkek. On arrival, check into your hotel and have time to relax. Dinner in a traditional restaurant to sample local flavors. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 11: Bishkek – Ala Archa National Park – City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a half-day excursion to Ala Archa National Park, located in the Tien Shan Mountains. Hike along scenic trails with forests, rivers, and snow-capped peaks. Return to Bishkek for a city tour in the afternoon, including visits to Pobeda Square, Ala-Too Square, and the Asian Bazaar. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 12: Bishkek – Almaty – Tamgaly – Departure to Kuala Lumpur
After an early breakfast, transfer back to Almaty. On the way, stop at Tamgaly Petroglyphs, a UNESCO site with ancient rock carvings depicting animals, humans, and hunting scenes. Continue to Almaty International Airport for your departure flight to Kuala Lumpur.
