Day 1: KL - Almaty Arrival in Almaty. Arrival in Almaty evening. Meeting a group with your company Sign and transfer to hotel.

Overnight in a hotel Kazzhol Park or similarDay 2: Almaty – BishkekAfter breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Kazath/ Kyrgyzstan border at Korday, after borde formalities we will continue our drive to Bishkek about 230 km. away. Enjoy the changing landscapes from city to countryside and the snow-capped mountain views as we slowly make our way to
Bishkek, the Capital of Kyrgyzstan which borders Central Asia’s
Tian Shan mountain range and the Gateway to the
Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountains and
Ala Archa National Park. Arrival in Bishkek by noon. Lunch at Bishkek local restaurant. After lunch we’ll proceed to the picturesque
Ala-Archa National Park known for its breathtaking
Alpine views of pine trees, snow-capped mountains and beautiful streams.
Upon arrival, we’ll do a short walk/ hike along the
Ala-Archa River enjoying the panoramic view of the
Ala-Archa Glacier. For those who are fit, fast and adventurous, you may wish to do a longer hike to explore some of the hiking trails further up at the mountains. After enjoying this lovely National Reserve, we’ll drive back to Bishkek.
Thereafter, we’ll do a walking tour of Bishkek and its main attractions visiting the
Ala-Too Square, Parliament house, White House, Manas Statue and Lenin Statue. Once done, to enjoy our dinner at the local-themed colorful
Navat Restaurant.
Overnight in Plaza Bishkek or similar Day 3: Bishkek - Chon kemin valley After breakfast, we’ll proceed to the buzzling
Osh Bazaar. It's particularly famous for its fresh produce, spices, dried fruits, and nuts. The market also offers a wide selection of meats, dairy products, and baked goods. Additionally, there are sections for clothing, textiles, household items, souvenirs, and local crafts.
Afterwards, drive to Chon-Kemin valley with en route stop at Burana tower, 60km east of Bishkek. Burana’s 11th-century minaret is the only remaining building from the ancient city of Balasagun, once the capital of the mighty Karakhanid Empire. You can walk up the winding staircase and enjoy a wide view of the scenic Chuy Valley. There is also a small open-air museum of balbals, carved stone figures found around ancient burial mounds. Near Burana we will watch a performance of traditional Kyrgyz horse games, the Buzkashi - Kok-Boru. Afterwards, delicious lunch at Kyrgyz Family in Don-Aryk village. Afternoon continue driving to Chon-Kemin valley. Upon arrival in Chon-Kemin check-in Ashu guest house. We will spend time in a lovely scenic valley. The valley is renowned for its stunning natural landscapes, characterized by lush green meadows, forests, and snow-capped mountains. It offers breathtaking views that attract nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Dinner and overnight in Ashu guest house. Day 4: Chon-Kemin valley – Yurt maker’s village – KarakolAfter breakfast, we’ll drive to
Karakol along the South side of Issyk Kul Lake.Along the way, we’ll stop at the Kyzyl-Tuu village to help Yurt maker to set up Yurt. Lunch at Yurt maker’s house. Afterwards, a short drive to Jaichi Pasture to meet an Eagle man with his Golden Eagle. The hunters typically use golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos) for hunting. These majestic birds of prey are trained from a young age to hunt foxes, hares, and other small game in the mountains. The tradition of eagle hunting has been passed down through generations, with knowledge and skills shared within families.Our next stop will be at Djety-Oguz Red rocks. Exploration. Afterwards, drive to Karakol. Dinner at
Yrdyk Village – a former Soviet Union Territory which is populated by the Dungan people of Hui origin from the Xinjiang Province in Northwestern China.
Dungans are a small ethnic group in Kyrgyzstan who migrated to the territory of Central Asia to set up home in Soviet territory. Here, you’ll get a chance to mingle with them and
enjoy your local lunch with an ethnic Dungan family.Overnight in Karagat hotel or similarDay 5: Altyn-Arashan – KarakolThis morning, we’ll have an interesting experience & adventure taking a ride on the
Russian Military 4X4 all-road truck (the
Russian GAZ-66 or Kamaz) up to the scenic mountains. Note: Our coach will not be able to bring us up to this picturesque alpine region. Along the way, there will be a nice photo-stop for you to enjoy the
“Swiss Alps” scenery before we head further up to the beautiful
Altyn-Arashan Gorge & Valley (2480m) – which means
“The Golden Sources”. The region around our Yurt Camp is very scenic famous for its
natural hot-springs, alpine meadows, forested mountain slopes and views of the Palatka snow-covered Peaks.
You can enjoy a lovely hike here in the valley, chill along the streams or just enjoy a rejuvenating soak at one of the hot springs with or without your swimming attires. After enjoying the lovely alpine Swiss views, we’ll have our lunch up at the mountains in a huge, nice cozy Yurt Tent. Thereafter, we continue our drive to
Karakol. Along the route down if it is safe, we may stop for you to enjoy a light hike walking down the valley before continuing on our journey. Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Karagat hotel or similarDay 6: Karakol - Kolsai lakes – KazakhstanMorning drive to Kyrgyz-Kazakh border Kegen. After the border crossing, drive to Kolsai. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Kayindi Lake. Here we will take local 4 WD vans to drive to Kayindi Lake. Hiking. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kayindi Lake. Arrive back to Kolsai Nomad or the Grand hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Saty village - Charyn Canyons - Almaty Morning drive to Kol-Sai lake. Short exploration. Then we drive to Charyn canyon. Short Hiking in the canyon.
Charyn Canyon - an amazing creation of nature that has existed for millions of years, picturesque and very diverse in geomorphological aspects. From here, you can see the height of the Canyon’s steep mountainsides reaching to a height of 150-300 meters. Several ravines and gullies make this place look like a dense rambling net. Wind and water have now created the stunning
"Red Castles Valley". All along the valley you will be surrounded by towers with amazing formations, built of sedimentary sand and natural wind water erosion. Through time, nature has on its own created these architectural wonders and majestic castles for us to behold and admire. We will do an easy hike here to soak in the surrounding wonders of nature. Afterwards, drive to Baiseit village to have lunch. Afternoon, drive to Almaty. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Kazzhol Park hotel or similar.
Day 8: Almaty City Tour – Shymbulak Ski Resort - Airport After breakfast, City tour at Almaty.
Walking in the Panfilov Park, named after the Panfilov Heroes who defended Moscow during World War II. The park is home to the Memorial of Glory and the impressive Zenkov Cathedral.
Visit the Ascension Cathedral, also known as Zenkov Cathedral, a beautiful wooden Orthodox church built in the early 20th century. It's one of the tallest wooden buildings in the world.
Experience the Almaty Metro, known for its ornate stations adorned with mosaics, sculptures, and artistic designs reflecting Kazakh culture and history.
Afterwards, we’ll drive to
Shymbulak Ski Resort. Shymbulak is situated approximately 25 kilometers outside of Almaty, at an elevation of about 2,200 meters above sea level. The resort is nestled amidst stunning mountain scenery, providing panoramic views of the surrounding peaks Take a modern gondola lift, which takes from the Medeu Valley to the main ski area at Shymbulak. The ride offers breathtaking views of the Almaty region and is an experience in itself.
After spending an enjoyable time here, we drive back to the city for late lunch before departure.
After lunch if time allows, visit the bustling atmosphere of the Green Bazaar (Zelyony Bazaar), a vibrant market where locals shop for fresh produce, spices, dried fruits, and traditional Kazakh foods like horse meat sausages and kumis (fermented mare's milk). By 16:30 PM transfer to the airport.
